Meeting Minutes August 17, 2013

EAA Chapter 1167

Old Business:

• CAP rocket launch event will be rescheduled TBD.

• Continued planning for the Fall Fly-in:

  • Jesse will update the tri-fold flyers to be mailed to other EAA Chapter Presidents.

• Larry Howell will work with his cousin to prepare our BBQ this year

  • We believe we need 70 to 90 pounds

• Doug volunteered to cook the chicken bog (perlo)

• Remaining items for the menu:

  • Baked beens

  • Cole slaw

  • Potato salad (~20 lbs)

    • Dennis will check the availability of our regular source for excellent Potato salad.

  • Brownies, cookies, other desert items

New Business:

• EAA is requesting progress reports on our Young Eagles activities - need to get with Dan and see if we can get his support and information.

• EAA is looking for us to support a Tri-motor visit to myrtle beach.

  • Timeframe is the third week in October. 

  • Doug and Larry Howell will call Chapter services to get more information about what is required for support.
